Karen is currently a law student at Northwestern University and expects to receive her
Juris Doctor degree in 2009. Prior to entering law school, she earned an AB in history from Harvard University.
In between college and law school, she worked as a teacher and tutor in Miami, Florida, and studied Geography
and Regional Studies at the University of Miami. She spent the past summer interning at Florida's Third District
Court of Appeal, conducting research on corporate litigation for a Northwestern professor, and studying international
taxation at Queen Mary's College in London.
